we're making Ojos de Dios with out student teacher

I'm almost done with my Ojo de Dios

it's actually fun to make Ojos de Dios

thank you Brittany for teaching us how to make Ojos de Dios
on your last day with us

Ojos the Dios or God's Eye is a cultural symbol in Mexico.  Ojo de Dios is a
yarn weaving and it is also considered a spiritual object.  When a child
is born in Mexico, the father weaves the central eye, then one eye is
added for every year of the child's life until the
age of five.
The image shows Ojo de Dios on Quemado Mountain,
San Luis Potosi, Mexico

we chose to build a room for our stuffed animals

yesterday we built an Axtec temple
